VALLEY OF PRAISE
Raising up a powerhouse of worship and intercession
Why?
The valley “waits in eager expectation for the sons of God to be revealed.” Rom.8:19-21

To change the spiritual atmosphere over the valley.

To facilitate revival – worship attracts God – God is enthroned on the praises of His people.

At this time, God seems to be inspiring prayer initiatives all over the nation and we do not want this area to be bypassed in any plans He has for this nation.

Much prayer has gone up in the past that has built up credit in heaven and we want to make way for the response that God wants to bring.

To gather leaders, intercessors, prophets and worshippers together with one heart for the land.

To encourage in the Church a united passion for the land where God has positioned it.

We believe God is calling us to initiate and promote this vision and respected leaders have already given us encouragement to pursue the dream.

(We do not want to compete in any way with any other prayer initiatives that operate in the valley, but to cooperate, compliment and work with them.)

WHY THE LAND BETWEEN Aylesbury Watford and St Albans?

1.      There are the road, rail and canal links and a natural valley through the Chilterns.

2.      A prophecy going back over 20 years concerning the area calling it ‘A Valley of Praise’.

3.      In 1996 a prophecy was given over this particular area by Matthew Ashimolo that the valley would be a “Door of hope and a valley of blessing.”

4.      The vision for this area is not entirely new; we are picking up on others aspirations.

5.      It is a gateway to the Capital City. The canal and railway were built because the valley was the best route through the Chilterns from London to the Midlands.

6.     In the area of intercession, there has often in the past, been links between the triumvirate of St Albans, Watford and Hemel Hempstead. Also, St Albans is a key city, not at least, in that it is the governing centre of the Diocese that covers Hertfordshire for the C of E.
